Publishing Instructions
Using FTP Client Software
Start your FTP application. For more detailed instructions, see your FTP program's online Help.
Type giantcomm.net or havilandtelco.com for the host name of the server.
Type your username and password.
Connect to the server. Most FTP applications have a Connect button. Once you've connected, FTP provides you with a list of the files in your Personal WebSpace directory.
Change to the public_html directory.
Transfer your files.
Disconnect from the server.
Display webpage
Personal web pages are viewed using the following example URL:
http://www.giantcomm.net/~userid or http://havilandtelco.com/~userid
Domains hosted by Giant Communications and Haviland Telephone are viewed using the domain's URL: http://www.domain.com
